IWA fundraiser surpasses €11k

The Irish Wheelchair Association Athlone Branch would like to thank most sincerely all who sponsored and gave so generously to the recent 10k walk/run fundraiser held on October 8 last along the Greenway.

The total raised for the branch was a fantastic €11,244. Thanks to everyone for their support.

The voluntary branch has been in operation for more than three decades and has been renowned for organising activities and trips for service users and also supporting the Athlone IWA Centre in any way they can.
