Yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in Roscommon

A status yellow thunderstorm warning for Roscommon is in place today (Thursday).

Met Éireann issued the warning this morning and it will remain in place until 9pm tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms with lightning activity are expected, with a possibility of hail too.

Possible impacts include power outages, hazardous travelling conditions and localised flooding, Met Éireann said.
