Orange wind warning for this region

An orange weather warning is in place for this region on Sunday evening and into Monday morning.

Met Éireann has issued the orange wind warning, saying that Storm Isha will bring very strong southwest winds with severe and damaging gusts.

It is warning of potential impacts including large coastal waves with wave overtopping, very difficult travelling conditions, fallen trees and damage to power lines.

The warning is in place from 5pm on Sunday to 2am on Monday.

The warning applies to Westmeath, Roscommon, Offaly, Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Leitrim, Laois, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford, and Wicklow
