Local club counting the cost of storm damage

A local soccer club is counting the cost of Storm Isha after their clubhouse suffered "extensive damage" last night.

Clara Town FC said they were "absolutely devastated" to discover the after effects of the storm today (Monday).

In a post on social media, the club said: "Our beloved clubhouse has suffered extensive damage. "Unfortunately, until it’s deemed safe the clubhouse is closed to the public."

Photos posted by the club show substantial damage to parts of the clubhouse building, part of which has no roof.
