RTÉ's Operation Transformation cameras return to Moate this Friday

Filming for the current series of RTÉ's Operation Transformation will take place in Moate for the second time in a month this Friday (February 2).

The 'ad break challenge' segment of the show, which is led by fitness expert Karl Henry, will be filmed at Dún na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park at 7pm on Friday.

Members of the public are invited to come along and take part in the challenge, while "a local hero" in the community will also be celebrated.

On January 5 last, Karl was in Moate for an 'ad break challenge' outside Moate Community Centre, and he also filmed the segment at Athlone Regional Sports Centre on January 19.

Hosted by Kathryn Thomas, the current series is based in Westmeath, with the five participating leaders having their weekly health check-ins at St James' Hall, Kilbeggan.
