Athlone dance academy looking forward to new show

Shannon Dance Academy presents ‘Cinderella’ in the Dean Crowe Theatre on Saturday, March 23rd and Sunday, March 24.

Athlone’s leading dance academy has gone for a modern take on the classic fairytale featuring music by Billie Eilish, Aretha Franklin, Berlin and many more, together with excerpts from the musicals , ‘Cats’, ‘Evita’, Enchanted’ and ‘The Little Mermaid ’.

It promises to be a fast packed, fun filled evening’s entertainment. A highlight will be an excerpt from Giselle, one of the timeless, classical romantic ballets .

From our adorable teeny ballerinas to our talented teens showcasing their expertise in ballet, lyrical, jazz and contemporary, Shannon Dance Academy’s latest production promises to be a night to remember.
