Outstanding achievement in STEM

At the recent BT Young Scientist Competition, Fifth Year Athlone Community College student Sean Sibindi came first in the Senior Individual Social and Behavioural Category. Given his amazing success in this competition, Sean has been offered a scholarship to NUIG, UCD or Trinity College for the academic year 2025.

Sean has also been offered a place on the prestigious ‘BTYS Business Bootcamp’ at UCD for a week in March. Only 30-40 students nationwide are chosen for this opportunity each year.
