Roscommon name team to face Monaghan

The Roscommon team to take on Monaghan in their crucial Allianz Football League Division 1 clash tomorrow has been named.

There are two changes to the team which started the defeat to All-Ireland champions Dublin at Croke Park last Saturday.

Donie Smith returns from suspension after receiving a red card in the draw against Galway, while Robbie Dolan of St Brigid's also comes into the team. The players who make way are Ciarán Lennon (Clann na nGael) and Evan Flynn.

Attacking ace Ben O'Carroll is still absent through injury, having missed the Sigerson Cup final with UCD recently and Roscommon's clash with Dublin.

With Roscommon seeking their first win of the campaign and Monaghan having lost their last two games, Sunday's encounter at Dr Hyde Park (throw-in 1.45pm) could be crucial in the battle to preserve Division 1 status.
