Kiltoom beauty salon wins prestigious award

Radiant By Hannah Kelly, a beauty salon based in Kiltoom, scooped the Beauty Team of the Year Connacht award at the Hi Style Awards recently.

Owner Hannah Kelly, a native of Kiltoom, said that she was “delighted and thrilled” to win the award and that it was very good for the team and recognition for all their hard work.

Hi Style.ie is Ireland's leading social, business and wedding diary and the annual Hi Style awards help to recognise and honour Ireland’s most stylish businesses.

The Hi Style awards ceremony was held in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cork on Sunday, March 24.

Hannah added that they weren't expecting the win and that just to be shortlisted among the 60 finalists was “brilliant”.

The local salon opened almost three years ago in June 2021, and Hannah is looking forward to expanding the business by opening a second location in Glasson this summer.

Radiant currently employees six staff members, and with the new salon it has the capacity to take on another eight staff members in the future.

The beauty salon also won the Midlands 103 Salon of the Year Award last year and is nominated for the Outstanding Salon award and the Rising Star award at the Villa Maria Women of Vision Awards 2024 which will take place in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork on May 11.

Hannah is a CIDESCO qualified beauty therapist and make up artist from the Sharon Leavy Academy with almost seven years experience in beauty therapy. She specialises in eyelash extensions, bridal tanning and permanent make up.
