Rosemount group return to Tuar Ard stage with three-act comedy

Rosemount Amateur Drama Society return to the stage next month when they perform a three-act comedy 'Widows' Paradise' in Tuar Ard Arts Centre Moate from Wednesday, March 12 to Sunday, March 16.

Written by Sam Cree and directed by Jackie Madden, 'Widows' Paradise' is set in a caravan in the 1960s, the play following a group of women who go on a caravan holiday so that they can prove they do not need men.

It is soon discovered that they are in the wrong caravan when they are joined by the male owner, his son and his brother-in-law.

Forced to spend the night together, the group are then joined by the husband of one of the women and the local farmer.

What was supposed to be a scene of peace and tranquility turns into a riotous clash of the sexes, each of the ten characters with his/her own story to tell!

Following the success of last year's production, the cast of ten actors are certain to entertain, 'Widows’ Paradise' having captivated theatregoers around the world since its debut. With its sharp wit, clever dialogue, and uproarious situations, audiences are ensured of a great night’s entertainment.
