Athlone man's clothing brand worn by top F1 driver

In a "standout moment" for his clothing brand, Walker & Hunt, Athlone native Luke Dully had much cause for pride when leading British Formula 1 driver Lando Norris was spotted wearing a knit jumper from the clothing range at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix in Jeddah.

Having started Walker & Hunt in May 2019, Luke has witnessed the growth of the clothing band, his classical and timeless fashion range expanding with each seasonal collection.

A native of Coolevin Park in Coosan, Luke is a son of Edel Garavan and Padraig 'Dutchy' Dully.

Currently based in Dubai, the international growth of the brand was recently complemented by the launch of the Walker & Hunt clothing range in Debenham stores in the UK.

"Seeing an international sportsperson of Lando Norris' status wearing the striped ecru knit jumper from my clothing range will only serve to enhance the brand," Luke said.

"Internationally, Walker & Hunt continues to grow, so Lando wearing an item from our clothing range will only create more awareness of the brand."

One of the main contenders for the Formula 1 Drivers Championship, Lando Norris is currently in second place following the first five grand prix races of the season.

The McLaren Mercedes driver was runner-up in the Formula 1 Drivers' Championship in 2024.
