Upcoming South Roscommon event to highlight supports for older people
An information event called 'Community Comeback' will take place in Dysart this coming Tuesday afternoon, May 20.
The event, which has been organised by Dysart Community Alert and Muintir na Tire, will take place in Dysart Community Centre (Eircode: H65 H393) from 2pm to 4pm.
It's set to showcase more than 25 different supports for older people, and there will be free health checks, and free food on the day.
Organisations which will be on hand to provide information to attendees include An Garda Síochána, Muintir na Tire, ALONE, the HSE, Roscommon County Council, CROI, the Road Safety Authority, the IFA, Specsavers, Care Direct Alarms, health services, and others.
All are welcome to attend and bring a friend. There will also be spot prizes and refreshments on the day.
