Supporters have turned out in big numbers for the popular Cumann na mBunscol finals at TEG Cusack Park.

The Westmeath Cumann na mBunscol finals are taking place in TEG Cusack Park this week and, as ever, supporters are turning out in big numbers to cheer on the young football, camogie and hurling stars.

A total of 18 finals are down for decision over four days and today, Wednesday, is the third afternoon of finals with five matches on the clár. Glorious weather is adding to a festival of Gaelic games and there is a wonderful atmosphere at Westmeath headquarters. The schedule for the next two days is as follows:

Wednesday May 21

2pm: Girls Football Division 4: Scoil Mhuire, Collinstown v Kilcleagh NS, Castledaly

3pm: Girls Football Division 2: Coosan NS v Tang NS

4pm: Boys Football Division 4: Kilcleagh NS, Castledaly v Tang NS

5pm: Boys Football Division 1: Coosan NS v Holy Family NS, Mullingar

6pm: Boys Football Division 5: Dalystown NS v St. Patrick’s NS, Ballinagore

Thursday May 22

3pm: Boys Football Division 6: St. Colmcille’s NS, Ballinahown v St. Michael’s NS, Castletown Geoghegan

4pm: Boys Football Division 3 : St. Oliver Plunkett BNS, Moate v Clonmellon NS

5pm: Girls Football Division 1: Holy Family NS, Mullingar v St. Colmcille’s NS, Gainstown

6pm: Boys Football Division 2: The Downs NS v Tubberclare NS
