Ladies football stars flock to Athlone for All-Ireland launch

The 2025 TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football Championships are scheduled to get underway next Sunday June 1, with the first round of action in the Intermediate and Junior Championships.
Before a formal launch in Croke Park today, Tuesday, representatives of a number of counties converged on Athlone for a photocall.

Westmeath, Roscommon and Offaly ladies are all competing in the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship 2025.
Westmeath are in Group 2 with Down and Tyrone; Roscommon are in Group 1 along with Laois and Fermanagh while Offaly are joined by Clare and Wexford in Group 4.
Sunday's opening fixtures see Westmeath host Down at Ballynacargy, Roscommon travel to Laois Hire O'Moore Park in Portlaoise to face Laois and Offaly visit Clare in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg, Ennis. All games throw-in at 2pm.
The top two teams in each group will progress to the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship quarter-finals on Sunday June 29.
The top placed finisher in each group will have home advantage at the TG4 All-Ireland Championship quarter-final stage, with a draw for the quarter-finals to be conducted following the conclusion of the group stages.
