Leinster Law Firm of the Year award for Athlone business

Athlone legal firm, Byrne Carolan Cunningham LLP Solicitors, has picked up three prestigious awards, including the title of 'Law Firm of the Year' in Leinster, at the 2025 LEAP Irish Law Awards.

In addition to being named as the Leinster winners of the 'Law Firm of the Year' title, the local legal firm on Mardyke Street also scooped the Leinster award in the Personal Injury/Medical Negligence and Property Law Firm categories.

The annual awards, which were announced in Dublin's Clayton Hotel on Friday night last, June 6, highlight the extraordinary achievements of individuals, firms, and teams who demonstrate outstanding dedication, skill, and leadership in the practice of law.

This year marks the fourth year in a row that Byrne Carolan Cunningham has been recognised with awards at the annual Irish Law Awards.

The overall award for Law Firm of the Year went to Munster, with the firm of MHP Sellors LLP in Clare, taking top honours, while the overall winners of the Personal Injury/Medical Negligence and Property Law Firm categories went to firms in Sligo and Limerick respectively.

Byrne Carolan Cunningham LLP Solicitors was founded in 1992 when the firm opened their first office in Athlone, and they have since expanded with offices in Moate, Lanesborough, Co Longford, Galway city and Dublin city.
