Castledaly playground group to host fundraising run/walk this weekend

A 5km fun run and walk to support the upgrade of Castledaly playground will take place in Castledaly GAA at 11.30am on Sunday, June 15.

Funds raised from the community event will go towards the upgrade of the amenity, a social media post on the Castledaly Playground facebook page stating that "the beloved playground is in need of some serious love."

"After 12 amazing years of laughter and play, the playground is starting to show its age. We're aiming to raise over €50,000 to replace the main climbing frame and keep this essential spot safe and fun for our kids.

"This playground isn’t just a structure; it’s a gathering place for our community. Every little bit helps, so please consider donating if you can."
