Athlone Town women's game postponed

Today's much anticipated top-of-the-table clash between reigning champions Athlone Town and Shelbourne in the SSE Airtricity League Women's Premier Division has been postponed.

Following a pitch inspection at Tolka Park amid heavy rainfall in the area, and with a yellow weather warning in place in Dublin, the decision has been made to postpone the fixture.

A new date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course.
