Roscommon's All-Ireland minor football semi-final venue confirmed

Roscommon will travel to Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan for their All-Ireland minor semi-final meeting with Tyrone on Sunday, throw-in 1.30pm.

Roscommon will be hoping to for a repeat of the character and resilience shown by the players during their extra-time win over Louth in what was a pulsating quarter-final encounter.

Shane Moran's charges have been gathering serious momentum since the start of their All-Ireland championship quest which saw the Rossies win the Connacht minor football championship in May when they defeated Mayo by two points.

That victory was secured by a late Dara Curran goal and it was a similar situation in the quarter-final win over Louth when corner forward Luke Shally netted the all important three pointer in extra-time.

Should Roscommon win on Sunday afternoon there could be a repeat of the Connacht final as Mayo play Kerry in the second semi-final this weekend, a fixture which throws in at 3.30pm.

Both games will be televised live on TG4.
