Renowned mentalist makes lunchtime stop in Savoury Fare Monksland

A long established Athlone business experienced a 'touch of magic' this afternoon when renowned entertainer and mentalist Keith Barry made a surprise appearance at its Monksland location.

The world renowned magician stopped off at Savoury Fare for some lunch, the Waterford native sampling the hospitality on offer at the café which recently celebrated a milestone business anniversary.

Under co-owners Des Hennelly and Rory Currid, Savoury Fare celebrated 30 years in business on June 4 and also has two further eateries located in Irishtown Central and Fernhill Garden Centre.
