Temple Villa's Martina honoured for contribution to Midlands football

Temple Villa's Martina Doyle has been recognised for her exceptional contribution to football.

Martina was presented with the award at the Midlands Soccer League (MSL) Awards on Sunday, June 29.

The organisation said the accolade was "a truly well-deserved recognition" as they renowned Martina as "one of the hardest-working secretaries in the league".

"Martina has played a pivotal role in overseeing the remarkable growth of football within her club. Temple Villa are now one of the largest clubs in the Midlands League.

"The club owes much of its success to Martina's tireless efforts behind the scenes. Her dedication ensures that all teams, both boys and girls, are ready to compete each weekend, with everything organised and smoothly running."

"Martina’s availability and reliability are unmatched; she is always ready to take calls and consistently remains on top of her responsibilities within the club.

"Her contribution to Temple Villa's underage teams and to the Midlands Schoolboys League (MSL) has been described as nearly a 24/7 commitment, making her indispensable to the community she serves.

"Temple Villa, its players, and the broader league are incredibly fortunate to have someone like Martina leading the charge, ensuring the continued growth and development of football in the region."
