Athlone's Bower Hall offers new accommodation option for TUS students

Athlone's Bower Hall is now being offered as a new accommodation option for students studying in the Technological University of the Shannon.

The new student accommodation option is being offered by the Hanly Group, a multifaceted Irish company with diverse interests in construction, property, and hotels, particularly known for its luxury castle hotels.

The building, which is located on Retreat Road, and was the former Bower convent boarding school, has in recent times been used as temporary accommodation for people fleeing the war in Ukraine.

Rooms in the student campus are priced from €680/month, with private single rooms, private double rooms, twin rooms (sharing with one other), junior rooms (sharing with three others), senior rooms (sharing with four others) and private dorm rooms.

Facilities provided in the price of accommodations include: a duvet and pillows, bedlinen and towels refreshed weekly, an individual study desk with a chair, a wardrobe, a locker and bedside light, housekeeping services including the cleaning of all common areas and bathrooms, unlimited highspeed broadband, and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen with induction hobs, pots, pans, and utensils.
