Thunderstorm warning for Roscommon
Met Éireann has issued a thunderstom warning for part of the country later today.
The warning is for an area including Roscommon, and covers the period from 2pm to 10om today.
Met Éireann warned of heavy, thundery downpours in parts with the potential for surface water flooding, lightning damage and difficult travelling conditions.
The affected region is Clare, Galway, Kerry, Leitrim, Limerick, Mayo, Roscommon, and Sligo
