Athlone Methodist Church to host four-day 'weekend of worship'

Athlone Methodist Church is holding a weekend of worship from this Thursday, July 17, to Sunday, July 20.

The church is situated in the centre of the town, on Northgate Street (Eircode: N37 ND76).

This Thursday, at 8pm, it will host a Testimony Night featuring testimony, from a former cancer sufferer, on God's healing grace.

On Friday, also at 8pm, there will be a prayer walk through the streets of Athlone. Prayers will be offered for each house, the families living there, and the businesses in our community.

On Saturday, a prayer breakfast will take place at 10am, while at 7pm there will be a Ministry of Healing service (healing prayer with laying on of hands and anointing). Ukrainian translators will also be on hand for the service.

Sunday will involve a Holy Communion Service at 10am, led by Rev Nigel, and then the annual closing 'Songs of Praise' performance, with full worship band, at 7pm.
