Tickets go on sale for two Champions League games in Athlone

Tickets have gone on sale for the two women's Champions League fixtures which will be held at Athlone Town Stadium in the coming weeks.

After winning the league for the first time last year, Athlone Town will face Cardiff City at home in a one-leg tie on Wednesday, July 30 (kick-off 7.30pm).

Tickets for the game are now on sale on the Athlone Town website.

They are priced €15 (adults), €10 (students/OAPs) and €5 (children) for most stand seats, but the most central seats in the stand are priced higher, at €20.

The club pointed out that there will be assigned seating in the Liam Gaffey Stand for the Champions League fixture.

Three days after the Athlone-Cardiff tie, the winners will play ŽNK Agram of Croatia, also in Athlone Town Stadium.

That game will kick off at 4pm on Saturday, August 2, and tickets for it are also on sale on the Athlone Town website, priced the same as for the Athlone-Cardiff fixture.
