How they fared in 2024: Castletown Geoghegan enjoyed a memorable season, winning the Division 1 Hurling League and later going on to secure the club's 15th Senior Hurling Championship title. In the Leinster Club championship they had a famous win over Kilkenny’s Thomastown, before losing to Kilcormac/Killoughey in the last four.

Players out: Darren Finn will miss the early rounds due to injury; Ciaran Doyle and Eamonn Cunneen are also absent for the first round; Michael Doherty and Brian McGrath will join the side later in the summer.
