Castledaly resident rejoices in Tipperary's homecoming celebrations
Castledaly resident and ardent Tipperary supporter JP Moloney was amongst the Premier County faithful who turned out to welcome home the All-Ireland senior hurling champions in Semple Stadium Thurles on Monday night.
Moloney, who originally hails from Thurles but relocated to live in the Willow Park estate in Athlone as a youth, met with a number of the Tipperary playing squad during the occasion as the Premier County savoured their 29th All Ireland senior hurling title.
Moloney and his family members are regular fixtures at Tipperary senior hurling league and championship games and were present in Croke Park on Sunday afternoon to watch the Premier County claim the Liam McCarthy Cup with a comprehensive 15 point defeat of their Munster rivals Cork.
