Athlone girl (7) named in 'next generation' of Riverdance stars

Athlone native Orla Reynolds, aged 7, has been names as one of the next generation of Riverdance stars.

The 7-year-old is a student of the Reynolds Academy of Irish Dancing based in Athlone, run by Julianna Reynolds.

Orla is taking part in the Riverdance International Summer School in Dublin where students ages 6 years up learn the choreography of the show taught by dancers from the show.

Students have travelled from across the world to be here for this summer school.

Riverdance 30 the New Generation is running at the Gaiety Theatre until Sunday, 7 September.
