Athlone Town confirm details of UEFA Women's Champions League Netherlands fixtures

As Athlone Town continue on their UEFA Women's Champions League journey, the club have confirmed details of their second qualifying round fixtures.

The second qualifying round comprises of a mini-tournament which will take place in Enschede in the Netherlands at the end of August.

In the opening semi-final fixture, Athlone will play Icelandic champions Breidablik UBK at 12pm on Wednesday, August 27.

Should they win this fixture they will progress to the final of the mini-tournament where they will play either FC Twente or Crvena Zvezda at 6pm on Saturday, August 30.

However, if Athlone fail to beat Breidablik UBK they will contest a third place play-off fixture against either their Dutch or Serbian counterparts, a game which will also take place on Saturday, August 30 with a 12pm kick-off.

Match tickets for Athlone's European fixtures in the Netherlands are yet to go on sale, the club confirming that relevant details will be made available for supporters in due course.
