Southern Gaels camogie player competes in All-Ireland Poc Fada competition

Southern Gaels camogie club gained national recognition earlier this week when club player Patricia Coote competed in the All-Ireland Poc Fada competition.

A large contingent of Southern Gaels supporters travelled to the Cooley Mountains in Co. Louth as the reigning Westmeath and Leinster Poc Fada champion performed admirably in the well contested competition.

This is a notable milestone for Southern Gaels Camogie Club which was only founded in 2023 and competes in Westmeath at junior level.
