Athlone Chamber to host high level business forum in October

Athlone Chamber of Commerce has announced the launch of a new high-level buisiness forum which will take place in the form of a corporate lunch on Friday, October 3, in the town's Sheraton Hotel.

Under the theme, 'The Midlands: A Centre for Global Trade', the event will bring together corporate leaders, policymakers and stakeholders from across the Midlands region to explore opportunities for regional growth and international collaboration.

Athlone Chamber's line-up of distinguished speakers for the event includes Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke, chairman of IDA Ireland and Athlone native Feargal O’Rourke, and the former European Commissioner and Irish presidential hopeful Mairead McGuinness.

The event will be moderated by Lorcan Allen, former Business Editor of the Business Post.
