Roscommon Nose of Tralee, Bailey, and Westmeath Nose of Tralee, Apollo.

Over 56,000 votes cast as Nose of Tralee winner set to be announced

The winner of the Nose of Tralee pet competition is set to be announced this evening (Tuesday) at 6pm.

Over 56,000 votes were cast in the national competition, which features cats, dogs, and various other furry friends from each of the 32 counties.

The winner of the Nose of Tralee will be announced via a live stream on the Nose of Tralee Facebook page, and the Pet Sitters Ireland Youtube account.

Roscommon Nose of Tralee finalist Bailey and Westmeath Nose of Tralee finalist Apollo have been selected as two of 32 finalists, after two rounds of public votes managed to throw a total of 1,550 competitors off their scent.

South Roscommon pooch Bailey is a 4-year-old Bichon Frise. His owner Ciara Kelly believes he would make a paw-some Nose of Tralee thanks to his lovable nature.

Athlone pup Apollo is a one and a half year old Collie Shepherd mix. His owner Amanda believes he would make an excellent Nose of Tralee thanks to his handsome face, soulful eyes, and gentle spirit.
