Shamrock Lodge benefit night in aid of local man battling Motor Neuron Disease
A benefit night is set to be hosted at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel in support of local man James McCoy.
Taking place on Friday, October 3, at 7pm, the fundraising event will feature food and music, as well as a jumbo raffle for attendees.
James was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) in March of this year, after first noticing something was amiss last October, when he started to experience twitching in his upper right arm.
The money raised will help James's family cover medical expenses, adaptive equipment, and everyday needs, giving James peace of mind to focus on what truly matters: spending quality time with his two daughters, family and friends and cherishing every moment.
The 42-year-old father-of-two has already raised €65,955 of his €100,000 goal from some 792 donations.
Tickets for the benefit night are priced at €40 each, and can be purchased at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, or by contacting Joanne on 0862135001 and Tom on 087663216.
