Local Chamber launches 2025 Athlone Business Awards

The 2025 Athlone Business Awards are open for entries, after an official launch recently.

The gala awards night, hosted by Athlone Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Saturday, November 8, at the Hodson Bay Hotel, where business leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators will gather to celebrate excellence across the region.

“This event has become a highlight in the business calendar and I look forward to another special evening that shines a light on the energy, ambition and resilience within our business community,” said Regina Bushell, President of Athlone Chamber.

“The awards are about recognising the people and companies who make a real difference in driving growth and opportunity in Athlone and the wider region.”

The Athlone Business Awards acknowledge the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals who demonstrate innovation, leadership and commitment in their fields.

With 19 categories on offer, including Business Person of the Year and Best Business of the Year, the awards celebrate the breadth and strength of Athlone’s commercial community.

Entries must be submitted by Thursday, September 26. A shortlist of finalists will be provided to the independent adjudicator in

October and will also be published on the Athlone Chamber website. Companies may nominate themselves or others through Athlone Chamber’s social media channels.
