Glasson's Moriarty claims prestigious professional golfer's championship
Glasson Lakehouse professional golfer, Colm Moriarty, claimed the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Irish Club Professional Championship at the Palmerstown House Estate in Johnstown, County Kildare, on Sunday.
Shooting a course record score of 64 en route to his success, the former Walker Cup player won the tournament by two strokes from his closest challenger Tim Rice of Limerick Golf Club.
Moriarty has contested 27 PGA tournament events in 2025 and is currently placed third on the rankings table following his weekend success.
The Irish Club Professional Championship win complements his double success in August when he claimed the Limerick and Newcastle West Pro-Am competitions.
