Bon Chocolatiers claims prestigious Blas na hÉireann Award
Bon Chocolatiers, the artisan chocolate business run by Athlone couple Georgia Quealy and Daniel Linehan, has won the Supreme Champions Award at Blas na hÉireann, the Irish Food Awards.
The Supreme Champions Award is the highest accolade presented at Blas na hÉireann, the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland.
Now based in Tullamore, Bon Chocolatiers was founded by both highly trained chefs during the Covid-19 lockdown and has quickly gained recognition for its original and luxuriously made chocolates.
From ethically sourced French, Swiss and Ghanaian chocolate to Irish butter and cream, foraged local berries, Wicklow mint and Oriel sea salt, the very best ingredients are key to everything that Georgia and Daniel do at Bon Chocolatiers.
Their artisan creations are available to buy locally from Beans & Leaves in Athlone or online, where they are delivered from their chocolate kitchen in Tullamore.
Blas na hÉireann, the four-day celebration of the best of Irish food and drink, took place in Dingle County Kerry from October 2-5.
