Luan Gallery to host Halloween themed mask making workshops

Luan Gallery will host Halloween mask making workshops for children on Saturday, October 25.

The 'Monsters of the Future' themed workshop is suitable for children aged from 7-12 years and will be facilitated by local artist, Aoife Doolan.

During the workshops children will design and craft their own 'Monster of the Future' mask. Taking inspiration from the speculative, futuristic themes in Luan Gallery’s current exhibition, SYSTEM ARMING, participants will create unique spooky designs using various techniques and materials.

Materials will be provided so all the children need to bring is their happy smiles and Halloween spirit. Children will leave this fun filled workshops with an original mask of which to be proud. What better way to keep the young ones happy, entertained and creatively engaged?

This is a two workshop programme, one from 11am-1pm and a second session from 2pm-4pm. Cost for workshop attendance is €15 for one child, €12 per child for families with two children or €10 for per child for families with three children. Booking in advance is essential to secure places. The workshops are supported by funding from the Arts Council.
