Tender documents reveal that the planned extension is to include a Student Learning Resource suite with capacity for 60 plus students

There will be a digitally enabled room with high capacity WiFi, multiple power points for student devices, AV facilities and a small quantity of fixed PCs.

The suite will be a location for students to use assisted learning technology devices

It will contain two tutorial rooms with capacity for 12 students, which will be adjacent to the student learning resource room.

The extension is to contain office accommodation for approximately 46 academic/research staff. It will see the relocation of existing management and administration office accommodation to new spaces to increase efficiency and adjacencies.

WC facilities and a Changing Places facility are also to be included.

The scope of the works will include the re-arrangement and refurbishment of circa 400sq m of the existing building.
