Athlone entertainer Desi Egan will launch his new single 'We've Got Tonight' next month.

The launch of the Bob Seger penned song, a duet with television personality Caitriona O'Sullivan, is planned for his appearance with the American Drifters and guests in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on November 15.

The song is a follow up to the duo's successful cover of 'Summer Wine', originally made famous by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood in 1967.

"Our second duet has been a while in the making. We have had many requests to record together again, so we are looking forward to releasing the song next month," Desi said.

Desi, who divides his time between Athlone and Puerto Banus in Southern Spain, is looking forward to his Shamrock Lodge Hotel performance in November with the American Drifters.

"There are two of the original band members still touring as part of the band and they will be joined on vocals by Gamal John who was a semi-finalist on last year's Britain's Got Talent," Desi explained..

Desi, who is signed to the Sony Music USA record label, will open the American Drifters show with a cabaret repertoire of songs from artists such as Tom Jones, Tony Christie and ABBA, and will perform his soon to be released single to a Midlands audience.

"It will be great to reintroduce Caitriona to a Midlands audience and I am hoping that she will join me during our ten date American Drifters tour of Ireland in January 2026," Desi added.
