Moate dance school comes highly decorated at elite dance competition

Leinster School of Dance, based in Moate, came home highly decorated from the '5,6,7,8 Elite Dance Competition' qualifier event hosted in Dublin last weekend.

Three students went for gold at the event, including Ava Dunne, Molly Keana, and Isabella Naughton.

Other award winners included Amira Reynolds who came in 2nd place, Eabha Daly who came in 3rd place, and Daisy Wingfield Brown who came highly commended.

"A massive congratulations to our wonderful students on their fantastic wins," said Shauna Coffey, Founder of Leinster School of Dance.

Students from the school will now compete at the 5678 All Irelands on February 13 to15, 2026, in the event which will bring together the best dancers and schools from across Ireland to display their creativity, individuality, and artistry take center stage across ballet, street, jazz, lyrical, acro, and more.
