Athlone Arts Group to hold annual Christmas exhibition

Members of the Athlone Arts Group have been hard at work creating some wonderful pieces of art for its upcoming annual Christmas exhibition.

The exhibition will take place from Thursday, December 18, to Tuesday, December 23, in a ground floor unit of Athlone Towncentre (beside TK Maxx).

There will be all forms of media on display, including oil, watercolour, acrylic, lino print, pen and ink, and pastel creations - something for everyone! The range of subjects will include nature, landscape, still life, and lots more.

Athlone Arts Group said its members are "looking forward to seeing our friends again this year, and we promise you a feast for the eyes".

All are welcome to attend, and the group expressed its thanks to Shirley Delahunt and her team at Athlone Towncentre for their loyal support which helps make this exhibition possible.
