Yellow rain warning issued for County Roscommon
Met Éireann has issued a yellow heavy rain warning for County Roscommon.
The rainfall warning comes into effect from Saturday (December 13) at 6pm until midnight on Monday (December 15).
The national weather service said spells of heavy rain will give rise to flood risks due to increased high river levels and saturated ground.
Met Éireann has also warned of difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility while the yellow warning is in place.
Roscommon is one of ten counties affected by the yellow warning, the others being Clare, Cork, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Leitrim, Limerick, Mayo and Sligo.
