St Mary’s PS pupils shine in Credit Union art competition

Three talented pupils from St. Mary’s Primary School, Athlone, have been recognised for their outstanding creativity in this year’s local Credit Union Art Competition.

Anastasiia Belko secured first prize in the 10–13-year-old category, impressing judges with her interpretation of the theme with a piece titled ‘My Life Story’.

Lola Healy, also excelled, taking third prize in the same category with her artwork titled ‘AI versus Humans’.

Meanwhile, Yelyzaveta Kulchytska claimed first prize in the 8–11 age group with a wonderful piece titled “Magical World”, capturing a vibrant and imaginative vision of the future.

The prize-giving ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 2, where the pupils were presented with their awards in front of their proud parents and school staff.
