Midland Warriors to mark pivotal year with New Year's Eve party

Midland Warriors will host a New Year's Eve party in the Grand Hotel Moate on Wednesday night (December 31) to mark a milestone 2025 for the rugby club.

The club was granted planning permission for new playing facilities on the outskirts of Moate in April of this year and such is the progress that has been made with the development, the new playing pitches have hosted competitive Leinster League fixtures for both senior men's and women's teams.

The club's underage teams have also been regularly using the new facilities at 'Bawnoges' since September.

Midland Warriors also hosted a 'milestone' event in mid October during which the club's two new playing pitches were named in honour of former underage payer Tim Ross and John Stone, who was a great supporter of the club.

In a social media post the club promised a New Year's Eve party with "great music, great people, great night".
