Athlone Musical Society steps up preparations for Witches of Eastwick
Rehearsals have been resuming this week for Athlone Musical Society's upcoming production of The Witches of Eastwick – The Musical, with just eight weeks to go until the curtain rises at the Dean Crowe Theatre.
Following a well-earned Christmas break, the cast and creative team are returning to the rehearsal room full of energy and enthusiasm.
With months of groundwork already laid before the break, the company is now entering an exciting phase as music, choreography, and character work are brought together in preparation for performance.
At the heart of the show are the three iconic witches: Alexandra, Jane, and Sukie. Alex is played by Linda Murray, Jane by Petrova Mulvey, and Sukie by Cherise O’Moore.
All three performers are well known on the local theatre scene and bring a wealth of experience, strong vocals, and dynamic stage presence to these demanding roles.
Having already spent time developing their characters before Christmas, the trio are very much looking forward to getting back into rehearsals and building on the strong foundations already in place.
The Witches of Eastwick promises audiences a bold, darkly comic, and musically rich theatrical experience, featuring powerful performances, memorable songs, and the trademark high production standards Athlone Musical Society is known for.
Tickets for The Witches of Eastwick – The Musical are now on sale and can be purchased via the Dean Crowe Theatre website or by contacting the box office directly.
