Featuring previously unseen footage and audio tapes of Michael Jackson, this series delivers dramatic revelations about the singer’s relationship with teenager Gavin Arvizo, whose accusations of child molestation led to the infamous 2005 trial. Jackson’s downward spiral reached a dramatic point of no return in 2003 when he revealed that he shared his bed with young boys.

The Fabulous Funeral Parlor (CH4, Wednesday 4th, 10pm)

Filmed in Liverpool over 10 months, this uplifting documentary follows charismatic funeral director Hayley as she helps families make their personal farewells. With warmth, humour and honesty, Fabulous Funeral Parlour tracks three families navigating loss: a woman in her 40s planning her own funeral; a daughter mourning the mother she never got to say goodbye to; and a family burying their father a year after losing their sister.

Frontline: Our Soldiers Facing Putin (CH4, Friday 6th, 8pm)

Concord: The Race For Supersonic (CH4, Monday 9th, 10.30pm)

The story of the international race to build the world’s first supersonic airliner. A story of how geniuses and spies gave birth to an entirely new kind of airplane that could cross the Atlantic in less than three hours, ushering in a whole new level of glamorous travel never seen before or since. Concorde – a plane so radical it looks like it fell out of the pages of a sci-fi comic.

When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, wild card CIA agent Jessica Chastain joins forces with German operative Diane Kruger and former MI6 ally Lupita Nyong’o in a global chase to track down a shadowy villain from the cafes of Paris to the markets of Morocco to the opulent auction houses of Shanghai.

Sarra Elgan’s Six Nations 2026 Preview (BBC 1, Wednesday 4th, 7pm)

Sarra Elgan meets up with those involved to get their insight of what promises to be the most compelling Six Nations Championship yet. Former Ireland star Ronan O’Gara – a man who has good and bad memories of Ireland’s rugby achievements – now coaching in France, offers his insight as the Irish head to Paris for the opening night.

Six Nations Rugby: France v Ireland (Virgin Media One, Thursday 7.20pm)

Here we go again, the Boys In Green versus the glory of Dupont and his French cavaliers on this first-time Thursday night battle. It’s just about the toughest task of the Six Nations, and having to play it as our first match will be a massive ask for Ireland. But we’ve beaten the odds before – it’s always possible that we’ll do it again.

Winter Olympics 2026: Opening Ceremony (BBC 2, Friday 6th, 6.30pm)

American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey and tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, which are scheduled to run until February 22. The five-time Grammy award winner will headline the event at Milan’s San Siro stadium – the home of football clubs Inter and AC Milan.
