Athlone Family Resource Centre elect new chairperson
Athlone Family Resource Centre (FRC) have elected a new chairperson for 2026.
Dr Caroline Coyle is a lecturer and researcher at the Technological University of the Shannon, as well as a performance artist and poet, with connections to Athlone Little Theatre.
She takes over the role as Chairwoman of Athlone FRC from outgoing Chairman Padraig Hegarty, who the organisation commends "for his dedication and service to the role over the past two years".
They also extended a warm welcome to two additional new board members, Dr. Grainne Powell as Vice Chairwoman and Sinead Byrne Canning as Festival and Events Coordinator.
