Athlone native Eva Coyle annouced for Croílar Festival
Athlone native Eva Coyle will be performing in her home town at the second annual Croílar Festival this April.
The festival returns from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19, continuing its mission to give a platform to up-and-coming artists of all forms.
Eva's work meets at the intersection of indie folk and cinematic sound, pairing strong songwriting with carefully crafted, emotionally rich arrangements.
Her music moves between quiet, stripped-back moments and powerful full-band intensity, always balancing intimacy with atmosphere.
A compelling live performer, she has appeared at Forest Festival, Electric Picnic, Kilkenny Trad Fest and Whelan’s Folk & Trad Fest, with her music regularly featured on the BBC Folk Show.
She will be touring through Germany in March, and is looking forward to bringing her immersive performances back to the heartlands for a special show at Croílár in April.
Beyond the stage, Eva brings over a decade of experience as a creative educator, a background that feeds into the depth and thoughtfulness of her work.
Alongside her folk-based songs, she’ll also be sharing new instrumental piano music this spring, exploring a more cinematic, wordless side of her sound.
