International Women's Day art workshop in Moate

Women's Circle Midlands and Art Box have joined forces and are inviting women across the Midlands to “take a peaceful pause, connect, and create together” as they host an art workshop in Moate on International Women's Day 2026.

The art workshop will take place in Tuar Ard Arts Centre from 11am to 1pm on International Women's Day, Sunday, March 8 next, and participants are promised a relaxing two hours to nourish their creative spirit.

Participants are being asked to step away from the rush, settle in with good company and enjoy some well-earned “me time” in a warm and welcoming space at the heart of the local community.

The relaxing Women’s Circle gathering will explore flower shadow drawing — a beautiful tribute to women’s strength, beauty, and resilience.

No experience is needed to participate in the art workshop and all materials will be provided. The cost is €10 per person, and bookings can be made by phoning Alex at: 089 238 1766
