Parts of south Roscommon to be hit by water outages from this morning

Disruptions to the water supply in parts of the south Roscommon region of Athlone are expected this morning (Thursday, March 5) and throughout the day.

Uisce Éireann has said that new connection works may cause supply disruptions to Monksland Business Park and surrounding areas in Co. Roscommon between 11am and 6pm.

These works, Uisce Éireann stated, are part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme. Uisce Éireann recommends that people in the affected areas should allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
