Council to review new Moate pedestrian crossings

Westmeath County Council is to review the pedestrian crossings installed last year at the Clara Road junction in Moate.

The council, in a written response to Cllr Tom Farrell, who had sought the review, said the 'uncontrolled' crossing were installed during works completed in 2025.

"The District will review the works to ensure the crossings comply with present standards."
